This workshop is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga. We will cover brief history, philosophy, fundamental principles and breath work. Students will be introduced to yoga postures (asanas) through verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis will be on student safety, stability and understanding within each movement. If you have never tried yoga then this workshop is for you! It is designed to meet the needs of the beginner as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.
